In the vast majority of cases, hiccups go away on their own.
Some say that by simply waiting and not worrying about them, the problem is likely to resolve more quickly.
Some of the most common remedies are as followed:
    • Holding your breath
    • Drinking a glass of water quickly
    • Pulling hard on your tongue
    • Biting on a lemon
    • Gargling with water
    • Smelling salts
Among all, the holding breath one works for me most of the times.
    Do as below:
    • Breathe in and hold the breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
    • Repeat three to four times.
    • Then repeat few minutes later.
