How much should I keep the volume (in decibels) to keep my ears safe from long-term damage?

I love to hear rock music on daily basis in the loudspeaker.

    Try to keep it below 85 DB. That’s about the level of busy traffic. You can stand it continuously for about 8 hours before permanent damage. The higher the DBs, the faster the damage. Investing in a decent pair of ear plugs is the way to go.
