In some cases, banking regulations prevent third parties from making deposits to accounts. In this situation, you must pretend to be the account owner to be able to make deposits. In this case, you may want to choose the Save account only and avoid the Direct Deposit option.

When the Chime Direct Deposit Pending on the main screen, you will be able to see whether the funds have been successfully sent. They will be grey or green. If you haven’t received the money yet, the funds will likely be in your bank account the next business day.
