It appears that the social media platform Google+ soon to be retired from Google is currently inactive. The service is experiencing problems as users say they cannot access the platform. I can confirm the problem because I can’t access my Google plus account either.

There is no information on the exact extent of the problem, but since users who speak different languages share the problem, it seems that users from many countries are facing the problem. We are looking for more information on the matter and will update the story as we have more information.

You received this email because it has Google+ content for your personal (consumer) account or a Google+ page that you manage.

This is a reminder that on April 2, 2019, we will close Google+ for consumers and begin removing content from Google+ accounts for consumers. Google+ photos and videos in your album archive and on your Google+ pages will also be deleted.

No other Google products (such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, or YouTube) will be closed as part of the Google+ consumer shutdown, and the Google account you use to log into these services will be maintained. Please note that photos and videos already backed up to Google Photos will not be deleted.

For more information, see the full Google+ shutdown FAQ.

From all of us on the Google+ team, thank you for making Google+ such a special place.
