    We have 24 hours in a day because the earth takes 24 hours to complete one revolution on its own axis.
    There have been no signs of the earth taking more time in completing one revolution at least not that I have come across so far.
    Unless that happens, the days will be of 24 hours only.

It's the only planet where life exists; the only perfect planet among the eight.
