Firstly the country which have more than one religion is its weaker point, theres nothing to be proud of to have many religions and many languages in a country like india, if people will stop celebrating festival. the opposite religion will take advantage of it and will celebrate their festivals with more joy just to show to the religion which has stopped celebrating, this will result in fights and riots, so religions are nothing to be proud of, they are curse to the mankind all over the world.

Festivals are celebrated for the joyous vibe they create.
People forget their daily concerns and meet their beloved family and friends.
We do not celebrate festivals as an obligation instead we celebrate them so that they can bring joy, happiness and change in our lives.

Festival

Moments of celebration, be it of religious significance or merely victory of our favourite sport team, it is a festival. We are entwined to our cultural origins, festivals are the timely reminders to get past our problems and cherish the present with the people we love. Unlike present circumstances, where entertainment is just a few clicks away, in earlier times festivals offered a major share of entertainment. Not just that, these cultural celebrations let us pass our ethical and religious beliefs to the next generations too.
