    I guess to learn a language the most you need is to be is attentive in both listening and reading.
    If we talk about your mother tongue, how did you learn it? Did anyone teach you the grammar? NO.
    Still you speak it will fluency and zero errors. How did that happen?
    The answer is by listening, so definitely yes to listening. But speaking is equally necessary.
    You must try to talk with someone who is already good at the language you are learning.
    Be attentive and listen and speak as much as you can.
