Why did better technology and animation ruined the cartoons?

Until now I like the vintage cartoons which were made handmade, hand painted frame by frame, they were really awesome and funny. But the modern cartoons are just not at all acceptable, there only action left with modern cartoons, no entertainment at all, WHY?

Walt Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks have been doing a great job in giving children stories and characters to remember for the rest of their lives. The cartoon movies that they create teach some lesson about family, friendship, and dreams coming true. Like anime, you missed half of your life when you missed the opportunities to watch these cartoons. Webtoons are also rising impressively in this field. It also has different genres you can choose from. Some are even published in books. People love these cartoons as it give them simple happiness and break from their stress.
