Should I start taking whey protein early?

I have started exercising since six months on natural diet, I need to increase muscle size which cannot happen without protein. Should I start taking whey protein from this time? Where can I buy a good whey protein which will be genuine and original?

Whey Protein is a great supplement for athletes and bodybuilders who want to gain muscle mass. Whey protein contains high amounts of branched chain amino acids (BCAA’s) which are essential for building muscle. BCAA’s help build lean muscle mass, increase endurance, and improve recovery time after exercise.

There are two types of whey protein supplements, liquid and powdered. Both have their pros and cons.

    Benefits of whey protein

    Whey Protein

Whey Protein is a milk product that contains high amounts of protein. Whey protein is derived from the liquid portion of milk after the casein (milk protein) has been removed. There are many different types of whey protein products on the market today. Here we will discuss some of the benefits of whey protein.

    1. High-quality protein

Whey protein is considered to be a complete protein since it provides all eight essential amino acids. These essential amino acids are not synthesized by the body and therefore must be obtained from food. Whey protein is rich in branched chain amino acids, which are important for muscle building and recovery.

    2. Low fat content

The low fat content makes whey protein a great choice for those who want to lose weight. A study published in the Journal of Nutrition showed that people who consumed whey protein had lower levels of cholesterol than those who did not consume any protein at all.

    3. Antioxidants

Antioxidants help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that cause cellular damage. Antioxidants neutralize these free radicals before they have time to do harm. Antioxidants are found naturally in foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.

    Side Effects of Whey Protein

Whey Protein is a type of milk protein that is high in branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). BCAAs are considered the building blocks of muscle mass, and they help maintain lean body mass. Whey protein is also rich in leucine, which helps stimulate protein synthesis and inhibit protein breakdown. In addition, whey protein contains lactose, which may help reduce cholesterol levels.

The side effects of whey protein depend on how much you consume. If you eat too much, then you could experience stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and headaches. However, if you drink enough water before eating, these symptoms should subside. You can also try taking digestive enzymes with your meal to lessen any discomfort.

Whey should be used as as supplement, so therfore your diet shuld be tailored to suit your size, goal, meal frequnecy, are you cutting/ gaining etc?

get your protein from whole foods like meat, eggs, fish, dairy, nuts etc.

but yes if its convenient and suits your daily routine then start taking whey powder. but dont replace all meals with it, as you will end up ‘flat’, hence why you need whole foods to put qulity muscle on.

i eat 270 grams of protein a day and manage it fine

Body goals. Everybody wants a physically fit body. Toned muscle is always good to look at. Achieving this seems hard when you rely only on the protein intake you get from eating specific foods that are recommended for you. You stay at the gym and religiously commit yourself to do it. Self-discipline is one of the keys. Not even a busy schedule can hinder from taking care of your body. It is self-satisfying to see yourself looking fit. Most people have body goals but they don't have the passion to pursue it. When clothes get tighter, it's about time to work your body out.
