Once both the partners have decided that they are not willing to stay with each other than why does the court ask them to stay together and sort their issues?

Well that depends. In the US some states or counties set minimum waiting period in order to let couples “think twice” before they dissolve their marriage. However state of New York uncontested divorce doesn’trequire the court and couple to wait some time prior the divorce is finalized.

Broken families. We can't easily figure out who are the products of divorced parents. Primarily, the most affected is the children. Imagine yourself going to a family day at school without a complete family to cling to. You can see other children playing with their dad and mom. Some ask you where your dad or your mom is. What are you doing to say? Divorce gives the couple their freedom to be single again after fallig out of love as it is their human rights to be happy. Unfortunately, this doesn't consider the emotional effects to the children. Thus, for hat marriage vows are when there's divorce?
