That depends what iPod do you use and what music app do you listen to. For example, iPods like iPod shuffle, nano, classic cannot play any streaming music services so that you need to convert Apple Music to MP3 with apple music converter windows and use iTunes or USB cable to transfer songs. If your songs are common songs, just follow this passage (Apple Music to iPod) to transfer directly.

Just use the Apple Music. It is the most direct and simple way to put songs to iPod. But I am Spotify fans. I prefer to download songs from Spotify to MP3 by using the Spotify Converter. Then manually import the Spotify songs to iPod.

You can put songs to iPod by using iTunes. The compatibility of iPod is varied, able to play audio files in the format of AAC, MP3, PCM, Apple Lossless, FLAC, and Dolby Digital. However, all music from Spotify is streaming content protected by digital rights management so Spotify music is only available within Spotify itself.you can try Spotify Music Converter to help you. it is easy to extract music from Spotify to the audio format compatible with iPod.

I am an Apple Music users and sometimes I will add Apple Music to iPod for listening with the help of a third-party tool from DRmare website. The tool works well for the job and I love it.
