I have been recommended to consume less oil and thus I was wondering how I can cut down on the oil usage.

For the people who are advised to consume less oil have no choice rather than cutting down the oil intake by shallow frying but it might not have that same taste.
Deep fried items become crispier whereas shallow friend items cant have that peculiar crispy effect.
