Q. Why did dinosaurs die out?

Dinosaurs died out mainly because of a massive asteroid impact about 66 million years ago, which caused drastic environmental changes including a prolonged impact winter that shut down photosynthesis, disrupting the food chain. Volcanic activity, like the Deccan Traps eruptions, and other environmental stresses likely also contributed to their extinction in a combination of factors. This event, known as the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction, led to the sudden disappearance of non-avian dinosaurs worldwide. MT Manager
