Air quality definitely boosts productivity. Many people have the notion that “polluted air” only exists in outdoor spaces where there’s smoke from vehicles, dust, and dirt. But the reality is that air pollution exists even in indoor spaces where the air can be contaminated by dust and other particulate matter. In indoor spaces with high humidity, there’s also a high chance of mold growth which not only affects air quality but could also harm one’s health. Air that is polluted with dust, dirt, pet dander, and other tiny particles can also lead to irritation of the eyes and nose. The condition can even worsen to colds, flu, and other respiratory ailments.

A room with poor air quality is not a good working environment since it will cause you to feel lazy, irritable, and distracted. It’s important to make sure that your workspace is ventilated and you’re breathing clean air as you work. Home Air Advisor is a great source of info on how to keep the air clean, as well as other helpful facts like temperature to kill germs in the house, and so much more, so visit their website today.

I’ve only just recently started working from home and at first, I really struggled to concentrate. It was strange because it’s not like I have any distractions because I live alone. I love my job, as well, so it wasn’t like I wanted to procrastinate. After much investigation, I realize that my home office had a serious mold outbreak. I hired a company that specializes in mold removal and the very next day, I felt so much more productive.

This is just my personal experience but I’m sure there’s plenty of research to back up the fact that air pollution causes fatigue. This makes it much harder to concentrate. So I highly recommend that you turn on your ventilation or open as many windows as you can. The fresh air will do wonders for your productivity.
