Q. Are Hyaluron pens legal?
1 Answer
Hyaluron pens are a very new addition to the world of beauty therapy. I remember working in a beauty salon and I wouldn’t have recognized such an item or had a clue how to use it. When I was learning my trade, they certainly didn’t exist. I believe that Hyaluron pens began to be used in 2018, just three years ago. I’m not sure why it took so long because the technology had existed for years, such as in the form of insulin pens. A Hyaluron pen lip filler is one of the safest treatments as well, so safety isn’t an issue.
In terms of their legality, this varies depending on where you live. Because the technology is so new, there may be some places where it hasn’t been fully approved. Essentially, this treatment is nothing more than applying a moisturizer to the lip or skin. It’s just a way of boosting Hyaluronic Acid in the body, which already exists naturally. So theoretically, there should be legal problems. It’s a safe and simple procedure.
The only real issue is that it’s so new and often, the legislation takes a while to catch up. Legislators have to look at all the data and check that new technology is completely safe before they allow people to keep using it. They also need to get all the proper regulations in place, which takes time.
The use of Hyaluronic pens are legal in most countries and are used by thousands of people all the time. Always check if it’s legal where you are, though. If it’s not, then I’m sure it will be soon when all the regulations are decided on and ratified. Just be patient, if it’s perfectly safe, as I believe it is, then it’ll be legal eventually.
