Everyone wants to better themselves but it’s amazing how few people actually take the steps to achieve self-improvement. I recommend that you break your goals down into small and manageable steps. Radical change shouldn’t happen overnight but instead by developing consistent habits. If you want to be kinder, then practice just one act of kindness a day. If you want to meditate, then don’t try doing two hours a day, every day. Do 10 minutes and make it a sustainable habit.

Also, find people to admire and use them for inspiration. If you want to become wealthier, then research the 20 richest people in the world. What makes them so different from you? How can you become more like them? Read their biographies and copy their habits until you become a better person. If you immerse yourself in the lives of better people, you’ll automatically start to be more like them. Click here for more self-development tips and inspiration.

“Welcome to the company! We’re looking forward to be working with you. Do your best!” Few years back, you were just the “young, dumb, broke high school kid” in town. Now you’re aiming for a better status.
You passed with flying colors. Your extra-curricular activities and academics were well-balanced. You thought you’re cream of the crop ready for the real world. Readied for your first interview, you said, “I can do this!”
Several months passed, your hard work paid off. Your pride goes up; conflicts rise; resignation follows. You reflected, “Where did the flying colors go?” They said that you can’t land on a good company or a job with a reasonable compensation if your records are not impressive. Thus, you are expected to give your best in everything. Be the best without losing your character. In the real world, flying colours don’t mean anything as grades don’t define you – attitude does!
