Unsure on whether to start selling on Amazon USA or Amazon Turkey!?
Amazon Turkey is brand-new, having only recently opened in 2018, with scant to no historical data. Tools like Jungle Scout don’t support it, and I couldn’t discover any tools that do. Since I now reside in Turkey and can expand locally from there, I would prefer to start on the Amazon Turkey Marketplace. But now I’m perplexed.
I set up $2000 to launch my Amazon business. I have access to suppliers in my area and can also source from China.
I took three classes on selling on Amazon and researching and choosing products. I then set up my LLC professional account on Amazon Turkey and released two FBM products made by local manufacturers. After three weeks, however, there have been no sales. Even though this isn’t my intended topic, I expect it, so there’s no problem. I’m not complaining here. What I mean is that I took action.
I tried to put everything I learned, particularly about product research and product selection, into practice over the past two weeks. I have trouble predicting what will be effective in Amazon Turkey. I experimented with a variety of techniques, such as: - Predicting demand and product sales from the quantity of reviews. I then discovered that not all evaluations were from Turkey. Most of them are from Germany, although some are from other European nations.
- Locate Tools for the Amazon Turkey Marketplace. There is no information.
- Tracking the traffic to Amazon product pages is hazardous, impractical, and not useful.
Should I invest in amazon advertising services on Amazon USA or Amazon Turkey? Any assistance is much desired!
I appreciate you.

Abandoned shopping carts are a major issue for Amazon sellers. I once had a customer add multiple expensive items to their cart, only to abandon it at checkout. I was disappointed to lose the sale, but then received an email from the customer apologizing. They explained they were just compiling items for an upcoming event and hadn’t intended to purchase yet. This opened my eyes to the reality that not every amazon shopping cart is truly lost. Sometimes shoppers just need a nudge to complete the purchase. Tools like cart recovery emails can remind customers of items left behind and potentially regain lost sales. For sellers struggling with abandoned carts, solutions exist to understand the issue and reduce it.
