Life cannot be lived with just money. We are social animals and we majorly survive on emotions like love and friendship.
Having said that I would also like to include that we can’t eat emotions so we need to work hard and gather enough money to feed oneself and our families.
What we must be looking for is the correct balance in between the personal and professional life.
Be with the friends when you have done your job and have given your best there.
It is very shallow to be at the workplace and not work up to your efficiency.
When you are with your friends forget about work until the next time you step in at your workplace.

The essence of life is not just in prioritising but finding the correct balance.

Prioritywise, it should be work first, because friends don’t give you the bread and butter, but we should still have quality time with friends to keep us sane.

Friendship

Chum-pal-bro-sis-bestie-beshie-bhai and all the endearments and bonding you have with friends are incomparable. Sometimes it can be more than the bond you have with your siblings. This is a special kind of relationship that also requires love and trust. There's no such thing as friendship with conditions. It should always be in every season. Everything is perfectly imperfect and we just need friends to understand and accept us completely; a person who shares with us the same perspective about what friendship is. Few real ones are better than having tons of fake friends around you. However, before desiring for real friendship, be sure you can offer one.
